I had a volunteer cut out brown tree shapes and the kids ripped up fall colored paper to decorate as we talked about the changing leaves. |

A volunteer cut out ship shapes from wood grain contact paper and the kids recorded the Columbus rhyme. *Note their cute leopard flags. |

We charted Columbus' voyage from Europe to North America; a few did try to cut through the equator with those dotted lines.

This was a directed drawing of a scarecrow, they all came out super cute! We read some scarecrow books and had a discussion of their role. |
