Oops, I did it again...

I broke out the bank, I bought lots of stuff, with great intentions! Picked up some goodies at an estate auction this afternoon with my momma. Thus far, based on my google based research, it looks like a made a few good investments for what I paid! These are just a few of my faves...

2 Solid Brass Lamps, 2 Solid Brass Candlestick Holders, Champale Beer Glass, Brass Spittoon- England, & a 1953 Illustrated Encyclopedia of Sex

Italian Marquetry Burl Tea Cart, Beverage, or Dessert Trolley
Vintage Retro Accurate Casting Gone With the Wind Amber Double Globe Lamp

Johnny Appleseed

The leopards learned some facts and opinions about Johnny Appleseed this September! We used the sides of our hands to slide down a trunk, our pointer fingers for some green leaves, and our thumbkins for a few juicy apples. I love how they all came out unique!

Sharing is Caring

Just wanted to share a few other randoms for today!
A personalized puzzle makes a great gift for a baby or toddler!
If you're in the Pensacola area, the Haunted Lighthouse Tour is some good, clean fun!

They even let us loose with our own EMF meters for spooky interactions.

Lastly, this combo is AMAZING. That is all.

Guest Room

Here are some pieces that I've collected for my guest room. Haven't decided yet if I want to: paint them, stain them, or keep them different?

Auctions, Garage Sales, and Flea Markets, Galore

Some of the awesome things I've picked up around town lately! Thinking I need to go ahead and open up a booth at a local antique hall since this eclectic collection can't possibly all fit into my little house in the village.
Working solid marble lamp- VERY heavy!
Carved fertility gods.
Antique German chair.
Mid- 17th century decoupaged opera prints and my imperfect hour glass to represent time standing still.
Brass change dish.
Creepy but cool stone girl figure in velvet lined shadow box.
Framed war rubbing; thinking Mongolian or Arabian with the elephants?

Solid wood teddy bear.
Purchased a box of old magazines and music sheets and discovered this tucked away!

Halloween Decorating!

Halloween decorating is one of my FAVES! Most of these accessories were picked up at TJ Maxx, Dollar Tree, Target, Ross, or Tuesday Morning.

A Dash of Healthfulness

My fave smoothies and juices.

This blend of glory gets me started on the daily.
Kale, flax seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon, banana, and almond milk.

Fall & All

Happy Fall, y'all! The leopards have created a few Fall crafts below.
I had a volunteer cut out brown tree shapes and the kids ripped up fall colored paper to decorate as we talked about the changing leaves.

A volunteer cut out ship shapes from wood grain contact paper and the kids recorded the Columbus rhyme. *Note their cute leopard flags.

We charted Columbus' voyage from Europe to North America; a few did try to cut through the equator with those dotted lines.

This was a directed drawing of a scarecrow, they all came out super cute! We read some scarecrow books and had a discussion of their role.
